BS Ong joined the Schmidt Group in May 2000 and brought with him 21 years working experience in Asia Pacific countries in a range of industries including audit, construction, manufacturing, sales and hospitality. He has served as CFO for Schmidt’s Marketing and Healthcare Groups since 2011.

He began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young Malaysia for 7 years, after which he assumed the role of Group Accountant at Tat Seng Group in Malaysia for 4 years.

Upon moving to Hong Kong he was the Vice President Finance & Administration and Country Controller for Hk and China for ABB HK/China. After 7.5 years with ABB, BS moved to Tokyo, Japan, where he served as Asia Pacific Finance Director for Vickers Asia Pacific.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and has an MBA in Total Quality Management and is a certified Director for Malaysian Incorporated Companies.
